Which printers work?
Any thermal receipt printer your Windows computer or Mac can print to, 58 mm or 80 mm, over USB or the network. Install the DineSure app on that computer and choose one printer for KOTs and one for bills; it prints each ticket without a dialog.
Do guests need an app?
No. Guests scan the QR on the table with their phone camera and the menu opens in the browser, in English, Telugu or Hindi. There is no sign-up, and they pay at the counter as they do today.
What happens if the internet drops?
DineSure works online. Guests order on their own mobile data, and an order sent during a drop is never sent twice. If the counter computer loses its connection, the app shows a retry page and picks up waiting orders when it is back; a KOT that did not print shows an alert with Retry.
Do I need new hardware?
No. The counter runs in the browser on the computer, tablet or phone you already have, and captains can take orders on their phones. For printing you need a thermal printer connected to a Windows computer or Mac.
Is there a commission on orders?
No. You pay one price for the year, however many orders you take, and there is no setup fee.
Who owns my data?
You do. Your menu, orders and bills belong to your restaurant, we never sell them, and guests are never asked for a phone number. Ask us any time for a copy.
